ClaimCircle Terms of Service

Overview

ClaimCircle provides a Chrome extension and related website that help users request evidence-based checks for claims visible on webpages. By using ClaimCircle, you agree to these terms.

Service Description

ClaimCircle lets users intentionally circle a post, paragraph, image, or visible content area. The service processes selected content and returns an evidence-aid result that may include a verdict, confidence score, explanation, and source links.

Not Professional Advice

ClaimCircle is an evidence aid, not a professional, legal, medical, financial, or journalistic authority. Results may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You are responsible for independently evaluating important decisions.

Accounts and Quotas

Each installation receives 7 checks. A user who signs in receives a separate account quota of 20 checks. Installation usage is not transferred to the signed account. Free and paid quotas are enforced server-side, and you agree not to abuse, bypass, automate, resell, overload, or reverse engineer the service.

ClaimCircle Plus

Current plan prices and allowances are listed on the Pricing page and displayed again during Paddle checkout before purchase. Pricing and allowances may change for future billing periods with notice where required.

Payments

Paddle acts as the payment and subscription billing provider. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until cancellation. Paddle may collect billing details and issue invoices or receipts under its own terms and privacy practices.

Cancellation and Refunds

You can manage or cancel your subscription from the ClaimCircle extension or account page. Cancellation stops future renewals after its effective date and does not automatically refund charges already paid. See the Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

User Content

You are responsible for the content you choose to check. Do not intentionally submit content you do not have permission to process, confidential information, illegal material, or sensitive personal information.

Availability

ClaimCircle may be unavailable due to maintenance, browser platform changes, third-party provider issues, rate limits, or network restrictions. We may modify or discontinue features as the product evolves.
